Do you love your neighborhood? Do you want to see things improve? Are you social? Do you have something to say about the goings-on in the Manor? Maybe you should consider volunteering with the RMIA or joining the RMIA Board of Directors. Whether you have a half hour to offer or years of dedication, there is something you can do to help.

The RMIA is always seeking individuals to fill open positions in the Association. For anyone who cares about the Manor, this is a great way to get involved and meet others your neighbors. There are openings for residents who want to take an active role in the RMIA and some openings for others who may have great ideas but less time to give.

The Social Committee gets all the credit for the Winter Social, the Neighborhood Garage Sale and the Fourth-of-July Bike Parade. If you have enjoyed these events in the past, you might be the perfect person to help work with the Social Committee. Whether you can just help set up for one event or you want to be involved in planning one or more event, we need all the help we can get. We are also seeking volunteers interested in seeing the garden walk return to the Manor.

In addition, the RMIA is recruiting individuals who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors. The board meets once a month ten months a year and is responsible for making decision on behalf of the association and the neighborhood. It’s only a little bit of power but it’s a lot of fun.
